YAS KWEEN is a monthly night of comedy that creates a space for those who identify as Women of colour. (WOC) to share their voices, develop their craft, and connect with each other. Each month is a different mix of stand-up, sketch, improv, musical, and storytelling performances.
On Saturday, July 23rd Friends in Toronto is hosting a walkathon, rallying against the increase of violence in Toronto. The walk begins at the Jane and Finch intersection at 11 am and concludes at Downsview Park with a BBQ style celebration, free of charge. Come out with the people of Toronto and support one another.
